I always find when i negotiate about prices or benefits i always get the short end of the stick (well in some cases) and a book about negotiating would strongly benefit me.

When I started reading i immediately liked the format on how the different steps where explained. First, you went through a very specific negotiation about a hostage situation that Chris went through in his career as an FBI negotiator.

Then the story was cut into smaller pieces and explained to the user what had happened and how he applied it to his situation. I appreciated he also applied these rules than to everyday issues that occur.

From selling a car to negotiating rent prices. Every chapter had some key lessons on the end where I found myself highlighting and bookmarking them for future references so I can try these steps out in practice. This book does require another read through to get the concepts of the book.
